The Client
Founded in Germany, the ROSSMAN retail chain commits to making health and beauty accessible to all, with employees and stores now in eight European countries. Since the company was founded in 1972, sustainable management has been an integral part of the corporate culture at ROSSMANN. In doing so, it sees sustainability as not a one-off action but rather an ongoing process.
So, when it came to the fit out of its Czech Republic headquarters offices, the selection of flooring options and designs was based on referencing ecology and the natural world, along with sustainable product choices.

Highlights Of The Project
The design aesthetic, in stone and neutral colour tones, was realised using Shaw Contract’s Living Systems carpet tile collection. Here this Cradle-to-Cradle• certified collection, made in the UK, offered the organic and textural aesthetics, and sustainable choices required.
Styles Endless and Observe were specified in the colours Radiant and Fragile. In using these two styles and colours, exciting combinations for a striking floor design have been used throughout the office space, connecting spaces and zoning activity areas and supporting wayfinding and flow while forming a cohesive look.
Adding style Familiar from the Haven collection in colour Espresso helps to serve as a navigation system for employees and anyone in the offices, giving guidance from the reception through the central collaborative zone and back.
Meanwhile, Shaw Contract’s Unite LVT was specified for the refreshment point/cafe area.
