St. John’s House

Walls to Workstations supplied and installed numerous high-end healthcare furniture pieces for St. John’s House, which included two floors of state-of-the-art private rooms with en-suite facilities. In contrast, the ground floor will accommodate offices, staff rooms, kitchens, hairdressers, medical and other social facilities.

We worked closely with our partner Teal Healthcare to choose suitable healthcare fabrics for the client. The materials chosen are durable and resistant to abrasion, designed to meet the specific demands of the healthcare environment. Many are stain resistant, waterproof and have anti-microbial, anti-fungal properties to help reduce the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections, which is a requirement for any care home.

In the breakout spaces, we installed the Umbria 2-seater sofa and Christie Armchairs, as they both have supportive backs and aid tenants in standing positions. The 3-seater Idro sofa and the Virtuoso High Wing Chairs’ contemporary print and colours brighten the lobby space.

The vibrant orange Charlotte Stacking Chair and Panama Console Table add colour to the hallway of the Care Home. Other furniture installed included Virtuoso Low Back chairs, credenzas and coffee tables to create a home away from home for residents. Porter House Contracts provided all curtains and cushions; the blinds are from Paddy Rogers Blinds.
